Alice Iyabo Ogunro, often known as Iyabo Ojo, is well-known in Nigeria's film industry as an actress, producer, director, and entrepreneur.
With approximately 150 films under her belt, her variety and passion are clear. In addition to her acting abilities, Iyabo Ojo has produced over 14 films. Aside from her success in entertainment, Iyabo Ojo is well-known as a television personality and philanthropist who uses her influence to benefit society.
Iyabo Ojo was born Alice Iyabo Ogunro on December 21, 1977, in Lagos, Nigeria. Her father was from Abeokuta, Ogun State. She was raised as the youngest of three siblings, with two older brothers.

Iyabo Ojo, a popular personality in Nigerian cinema, was born in Lagos to Olubunmi Fetuga and Adekunle Ogunro. She was raised alongside her brother, Babalola Ojo, and completed her elementary education at National College in Gbagbada, Lagos, before going on to pursue a degree in estate management at Lagos State Polytechnic.
Her interest in acting started in secondary school, when she joined a play group. She formally entered the profession in 1998, influenced by actress Bimbo Akintola, who assisted her in joining the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and introducing her to major players in Nollywood.

Iyabo Ojo's ascent to prominence began in 1998 with her debut in the English-language film Satanic, but it was her appearance in the 2002 Yoruba-language film Baba Darijinwon that truly established her in Nollywood.
Her ability to play a variety of characters, from humorous to dramatic, has earned her a loyal following in the profession. Iyabo Ojo has appeared in over 150 films, including as Bolutife, Ololufe, Esan, Okunkun Biribiri, Jagun Jagun, and Arinzo. Her excellent performances have garnered her a large following in Nigerian cinema.
Iyabo Ojo established her own production firm, Iyabo Ojo Films Production, in 2004, after her debut picture, Bolutife, achieved financial success. Bofeboko, Ololufe, Esan, and Okunkun Biribiri followed suit after this success.

Iyabo Ojo, 46, is the proud mother of two children, Festus Oladunjoye Ojo and Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, from her marriage to a Lagos-based film marketer. Despite the breakup of her marriage, Iyabo Ojo stays focused on her children and has decided not to remarry. However, she is currently dating Paul Okoye, a Nigerian event promoter and entrepreneur.
